CarolinaPower Named to 2020 List of Best Places to Work in South Carolina

For the third consecutive year, CarolinaPower has been named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina – a prestigious list of the state’s top-notch employers unveiled in mid-July 2020. The only specialty contractor to make the list, CarolinaPower ranked #13 in the Large Employer category, defined as 250 or more U.S. employees.

“Once again, we owe this honor to our employees who voluntarily – and anonymously – participated in the Best Places to Work survey,” said Chris Moore, president of CarolinaPower, which has four offices in South Carolina an extensive field force. “In 2020, the world learned what we always knew… that construction is essential. Now in its 15th year, the Best Places to Work in South Carolina survey-and-awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The program was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

CarolinaPower and other ranked companies will be recognized at a virtual awards ceremony on August 21, 2020. Specific rankings by category (small/medium and large employers) will be published in the August 2020 issue of SCBIZ magazine.

About Best Places to Work in South Carolina Program – Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
