At CarolinaPower, “Our People are Our Power.” Keith Singletary in our Columbia office has been with CarolinaPower for 10 years. Beginning as an electrician’s helper, he went on to graduate from our state-registered, “earn while you learn” four-year Apprenticeship program. Keith is now an Electrician helping to recruit the next generation to the construction industry.
Keith recently spoke to students in the Level 1 & 2 electrical classes at Lexington Technology Center. This program equips students to graduate as a Level 2 NCCER Apprentice. This allows for an environment that produces strong recruits to transition into our apprenticeship program at CarolinaPower where they can be immersed in our unique culture, high standards and commitment to quality work.
“Keith is an asset to CarolinaPower. His character, initiative and dependability make a difference on our jobsites. He is currently studying for his journeyman’s license. We appreciate the momentum he has brought to CarolinaPower and admire his work ethic to better himself and our growing industry,” said Bradley Michie, Branch Manager of CarolinaPower’s Columbia office.
