CarolinaPower Electrician Recognized by Client for Safety on the Jobsite
CarolinaPower electrician John Gartman Jr. was singled out by The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for “exhibiting exceptional support of safety processes and hazard-reduction efforts on the jobsite” for a project underway in Columbia for the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). Whiting-Turner's superintendent commended John for ensuring signs were on barricades, spotting equipment, and keeping the jobsite clean. CarolinaPower Project Manager Helps High School Students Learn Real-World Construction Skills
As part of an ongoing partnership with Charleston Metro Chamber, ABC Carolinas once again held its Build a SHED competition — an ABC Carolinas “Students Hands-On Experience Day” program intended to promote interest in construction-related careers through experiential learning. The one-day Lowcountry competition was held in March at the Exchange Park in Ladson, S.C.
