CarolinaPower Joins Construction Industry Peers to Promote Hearth Health

CarolinaPower’s Columbia, S.C. office recently participated in the inaugural Hard Hats with Heart-Midlands event intended to raise awareness of heart health issues in the local construction community.

Promoted by the Columbia Chamber, the event benefits the American Heart Association-Midlands’ (AHA) work to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives, specifically aimed towards the construction industry’s elevated risk.

Held on November 12 at Steel Hands Brewing in Cayce, S.C., the venue was set up with interactive stations where attendees could get their blood pressure checked and learn about nutrition and health. CarolinaPower was proud to serve as “Project Sponsor” for this year’s event.
