Madison Younginer Promotes YMCA Initiative to Help Keep Kids Active

CarolinaPower’s own Madison Younginer, business development, was one of six local former pro athletes who participated in “At the Table,” a special storytellers event presented by the Greeenville News at Fluor Field on March 10, 2020. The event benefited the YMCA of Greenville to help keep children active.

Each athlete told stories about the moment they broke up with their professional athletic career. They also shared a food or dish that held significance in their lives, which inspired the menu for the evening.

Younginer, a former MLB pitcher, talked of his rise as a baseball player, playing for the Greenville Drive to pitching in the Major Leagues, and the lessons he took from his professional career.
